Easter weekend!

Hello!

This weekend we are celebrating Easter--the death and ressurrection of Jesus Christ. Although our church held an afternoon service, the real reason for Easter is Christ's ressurrection! Our church is having a sunrise service at 6:00, followed by a potluck breakfast. :-)


It is sad to see how the emphasis of Easter here in Brazil is Christ's death, rather than His ressurrection, due to the grip that Catholocism has on Brazil. The Catholics leave Christ dead and buried! They don't remember that the real reason for Easter is Sunday when we celebrate the ressurrection! How wonderful it is that we know what the whole "story" is--that we have a Risen Savior, and not a dead one!!!
